In order to operate quality management at institutional level — the International Relations Office runs four core mechanisms together: reporting, indicator-based monitoring, participatory decision-making and data-based improvement.
An activity report is prepared every year and shared with the public; the level of achievement of targets is set out transparently.
The targets in the internationalisation strategy (number of international students, Erasmus mobility, bilateral agreements, etc.) are monitored through indicators.
Decision-making processes are conducted through the Executive Board / Commission; participation in management and institutional oversight are ensured.
Improvement decisions are taken on the basis of data; their results are evaluated in monitoring periods and the cycle is renewed.

Through this system the Office manages internationalisation activities not merely as an operational area of duty but as a quality-assurance-based institutional process — reporting, monitoring, participatory decision-making and improvement steps together form the PDCA cycle.
